Lord. Two years since a journal Six or so since a submission I get nostalgic from time to time But this place just isn't the same   Many friends aren't here anymore And that's ok. I don't really write anymore A stanza here or there I'll rely on the words or songs of others To help express how I feel at the time And that's ok. This world was really a lifetime ago Another place, another time A completely different me And that's perfect. I'm glad to say I've changed That I've grown With a bit of embarrassment of past things But there's no need to dwell on that Because there will be no going back. Yea, I'm doing just fine

Musing Sometimes I wish I was inspired to write As often as I used to But then I remember That void has been filled I no longer have a need To use a black quill And I wouldn't trade that For any verse the muses offered Untitled Things are changing, brighten by the sun’s light Adventure is at our doorsteps New, unknown, and maybe a bit scary So take my hand, because you and I No matter where we land We are whole, and we are home Dining with Karma So once I got away, I found myself Buried under all the lies and abuse I'll never go down those paths again Tally ho and moving forward I am not a perfect pers

So it's been over a year since I've posted a journal. I haven't been very active in the last year either. I suppose too much has changed on here and I've changed a lot as well. I still like to pop in and look about. I just don't have much to write about I never really did when I was happy Poetry for me was an outlet in my darkness And I'm happy Finally. I finally got myself together I feel complete and my life is going the right way I found someone Who's always been there Who'da thought That the best person for you Was there all along So I'm well I'll have a graduate degree in May I'm moving again soon Things are good An
